The end of my first full day in California.

Tired.

Ate at Jack in the Box for lunch, and McDonald’s for dinner. So far the food doesn’t seem to be much different from back home, though I am really liking the free refills for drinks and the better selection of drinks. Prices are nothing to phone home about. Haven’t really taken any photos of anything here either.

All the buildings are so low!

Got my work laptop, a used Dell Latitude D600. It has a 15″ screen and a display resolution of 1400×1050. After using this I’m finding it very difficult to look at my personal laptop’s 1024×768 screen. The downside is that I’m back on Windows XP due to proprietary corporate software for Windows.
